The Isle of Man TT is an event which sees the world’s best motorcyclists come to the Isle of Man to race the island’s ‘Mountain Course’. The race is just under 38 miles long and is made up of the island’s public closed roads.
The events take place from 29th May - 10th June, with the races held on alternative days.
The Manx GP is a similar event with Supersport bikes racing around the island for victory. It is always a great atmosphere as there are classic motorbikes on display, the Festival of Jurby and an all-round incredible atmosphere for motorbike enthusiasts of all kinds. All of this encompasses the ‘Festival of Motorcycling’.
The GP is set to take place from 21st of August to the 2nd September 2022.
The Manx National Rally is another big racing event on the island that dates all the way back to 1979. The rally cars are pushed to the limit around the island track and much like the motorbikes events, the atmosphere is always phenomenal.
The rally took place on 13th - 14th May this year.
Isle of Man International Darts Festival sees the very best in the business come together to compete on the island. Like most darts events and festivals, it is great fun to get in on the excitement when you get the chance.
This year’s International Darts Festival on the island took place on 10th - 13th March.
The Isle of Man Beer and Cider Festival returned for the ninth time this year after a two year absence due to Covid-19 restrictions. The Villa Marina was once again the location of choice with its magnificent Royal Hall. On offer was over 120 real ales, ciders, perries, fruit wines and mead.
The event took place between the 7th - 9th April but will likely be back in 2023.
